Manuscript Types

Original Research Papers

These are full-length papers presenting original research findings that have not been published elsewhere. They should contain sufficient detail to allow other researchers to reproduce the work. Original research papers typically range from 4000 to 8000 words.

Review Articles

Review articles provide a comprehensive analysis of existing literature on a specific topic. They should synthesize current knowledge, identify gaps in research, and suggest future directions. Review articles typically range from 6000 to 12000 words.

Case Studies

Case studies present detailed accounts of specific research cases, experiments, or applications that have significant scientific or practical value. They should provide insights into novel approaches or unexpected findings. Case studies typically range from 2000 to 4000 words.

Short Communications

Short communications are brief reports of original research that have immediate significance or represent preliminary findings. They should be concise and focused on a single key finding. Short communications typically range from 1000 to 2000 words.

Manuscript Structure

1. Title Page

  • Full manuscript title (concise, specific, informative)
  • Author names and affiliations
  • Corresponding author contact information (email, phone, address)
  • ORCID ID (optional, but recommended)
  • Conflict of interest statement
  • Funding acknowledgments

2. Abstract

  • 200–250 words
  • Structured: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions
  • Include 3-5 keywords at the end
  • Should be self-contained and understandable without reference to the main text

3. Introduction

  • Provide context and background for the research
  • State the research problem and objectives clearly
  • Review relevant literature and identify gaps
  • Outline the scope and significance of the study
  • Conclude with a brief overview of the paper structure

4. Materials and Methods

  • Provide sufficient detail to allow replication of the study
  • Describe materials, equipment, and procedures clearly
  • Include statistical methods and analysis techniques
  • Ethical approval and informed consent statements (if applicable)
  • Animal welfare statements (if applicable)

5. Results

  • Present findings objectively without interpretation
  • Organize results logically using headings and subheadings
  • Use tables and figures to present complex data
  • Refer to all tables and figures in the text
  • Include statistical significance where appropriate

6. Discussion

  • Interpret results in the context of the research objectives
  • Compare findings with previous studies
  • Discuss limitations of the study
  • Explain the significance and implications of the findings
  • Suggest future research directions

7. Conclusion

  • Summarize the main findings and their significance
  • Restate the contribution to the field
  • Avoid introducing new information
  • Keep it concise (1-2 paragraphs)

8. References

  • Format according to APA 7th edition guidelines
  • Include only cited references
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Use consistent formatting throughout

Formatting Requirements

General Formatting

  • Font: 11-point Times New Roman or equivalent
  • Line spacing: 1.5
  • Margin: 2.5 cm (1 inch) on all sides
  • Alignment: Justified
  • Page numbering: Consecutive from title page
  • File format: DOCX, DOC, PDF, or TEX

Heading Hierarchy

  • Level 1: Bold, 14-point, centered
  • Level 2: Bold, 12-point, left-aligned
  • Level 3: Bold italic, 11-point, left-aligned
  • Level 4: Italic, 11-point, left-aligned
  • Use consistent numbering system
  • Avoid excessive heading levels

Language Requirements

Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise English. Non-native English speakers are encouraged to have their manuscripts edited by a professional English editing service before submission to ensure clarity and readability.

Figures and Tables

Figures

General Guidelines

  • • High-quality resolution (minimum 300 DPI)
  • • Clear labels and legends
  • • Consistent formatting throughout
  • • Numbered consecutively
  • • Referenced in text in numerical order

File Formats

  • • JPEG or TIFF for photographs
  • • EPS or PDF for line drawings
  • • PNG for graphs and charts
  • • Avoid low-resolution formats like GIF
  • • Ensure all text is readable when reduced

Tables

General Guidelines

  • • Simple and clear design
  • • Numbered consecutively
  • • Referenced in text in numerical order
  • • Include descriptive titles
  • • Use horizontal lines only

Content Guidelines

  • • Avoid excessive columns or rows
  • • Include units of measurement
  • • Define abbreviations in footnotes
  • • Include statistical information (p-values, confidence intervals)
  • • Do not duplicate information from text

Captions and Legends

  • Provide clear, descriptive captions for all figures and tables
  • Figure legends should include sufficient detail to understand the figure without reference to the text
  • Table titles should be placed above the table
  • Figure captions should be placed below the figure
  • Define all symbols, abbreviations, and terminology used
  • Acknowledge sources for copyrighted material

Ethical Considerations

Originality and Plagiarism

Manuscripts must be original and not have been published elsewhere, nor be under consideration for publication by another journal. We use plagiarism detection software to check all submissions. Any form of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, is unacceptable and will result in immediate rejection.

Important: The journal follows HEC guidelines with a maximum 11% similarity index. Manuscripts exceeding this limit will be returned to authors for revision.

Conflict of Interest

All authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the research or its interpretation. This includes financial interests, personal relationships, or professional affiliations that could be perceived as affecting the objectivity of the work.

  • Stock ownership or equity interests
  • Patents or patent applications
  • Personal or professional relationships

Research Involving Human Participants

  • Ethics committee approval is required
  • Informed consent must be obtained from all participants
  • Confidentiality and privacy must be protected
  • Research must comply with relevant regulations (e.g., Declaration of Helsinki)
  • Manuscripts must include statements regarding ethical approval and informed consent

Research Involving Animals

  • Institutional animal care and use committee approval is required
  • Research must comply with national and international animal welfare guidelines
  • Manuscripts must include statements regarding animal welfare approval
  • Minimization of animal suffering is required
  • Appropriate anesthesia and analgesia must be used

Authorship

Authorship should be based on substantial contributions to the research according to the following criteria:

  • Conception and design of the study
  • Acquisition of data
  • Analysis and interpretation of data
  • Drafting the manuscript
  • Revising the manuscript critically
  • Final approval of the version to be published

All authors must agree to the authorship order and have approved the final version of the manuscript.
